Twin Lakes Chiropractic was established in 1985 by Dr. Larry N. Hansen. It originally located in the Twin Lakes area of Federal Way before relocating to its present location at 11th and 348th in 1997. Dr. Hansen has been active in both the Federal Way and chiropractic communities by serving as President of the Washington State Chiropractic Association President of the Federal Way Kiwanis club, and remains an active member of both groups.
With over 45 years combined experience, our staff of doctors and therapists have been helping the residents of the greater Federal Way area achieve better health with a safe, gentle, effective approach to wellness. Our belief is that patients will benefit from the combined therapies of chiropractic, massage and rehabilitation. We also work closely with many other specialists I the area and try to create a treatment plan based on each individual case.
We are providers for most insurance plans and all of our billing is done in house. Our staff of account specialists is always available to discuss any concerns you may have.

Dr. Larry Hansen was born and raised in Sumner, Washington. He joined the United States Army in 1974 and served both in the US and overseas. He did his undergraduate studies at Green River Community College, theUniversity of Maryland and Western Washington University. In 1983 he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic fromWestern States Chiropractic College located in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Hansen opened Twin Lakes Chiropractic in 1985. Through continuing education studies he became Board Eligible in Chiropractic Orthopedics and as a Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Hansen believes in a natural, non-invasive approach to health care and has served the Federal Way and the surrounding areas for over 25 years. He also has served as president of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and as president of the Federal Way Kiwanis. Dr. Hansen and his wife Diana have three grown children and are active in their church and community. In his off time, Dr. Hansen enjoys woodworking, bass-fishing and “RV-ing”.

Dr. Edward Yee was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Victoria, British Columbia Canada. He graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. He joined Twin Lakes Chiropractic Clinic in 1998 and has been involved with the local community ever since. Dr. Yee is trained in chiropractic treatment, radiologic interpretation and spinal rehabilitation. He specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, peak athletic performance and the use of chiropractic treatment for the maintenance of health. Dr. Yee is dedicated to giving all patients personal attention and the finest state of the art of chiropractic treatment available. He has been a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association since 1998. In addition to his professional services, Dr. Yee is an avid runner, cyclist and enjoys spending time with his three young children and his wife Dr. Kimberly Palmer-Yee.

Dr. Kimberly Palmer-Yee joined our staff at Twin Lakes Chiropractic in 2005. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta, receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College in 2000. Her practice philosophy emphasizes chiropractic health care for women during pregnancy and childbirth, and chiropractic care for infants and children. Full-spectrum family chiropractic medicine has allowed her to establish strong family relationships by providing maternity care for moms, caring for babies and children, and even their grandparents.
Dr. Palmer-Yee is also a certified yoga instructor. Her students learn the importance of good body mechanics and the benefits of having a strong spine and core. Dr. Palmer-Yee, along with her husband Dr. Edward Yee keeps busy with three young children. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, volunteer work and spending time with her family.

Our newest addition to the staff at Twin Lakes Chiropractic Clinic is Dr. Asa Hansen. He was born in Portland,Oregon and raised in Fife/Milton area, graduating from Fife High School in 1999. His undergraduate studies were done at Green River Community College and Washington State University, then in December of 2008, he graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. His practice philosophy emphasizes nutrition and physical fitness for all age levels. When not in the clinic he enjoys golf, tennis and snowboarding.
Massage Therapy
Kelly Sanford joined our staff at Twin Lakes Chiropractic in 2008. She earned her l certification as a licensed massage therapist from Ashmead College in Fife, Washington. Her practice focus is auto and work related injuries. Kelly and her husband have two young sons and in their spare time enjoy camping and four-wheeling.
Michelle King, a licensed massage therapist since December 2002, joined the Twin Lakes Chiropractic family in 2004. She specializes in treatment massage, deep tissue and relaxation massage. When Michelle's away from the office she enjoys playing softball and traveling to warmer climates.
Mandy Foster is Ashmead college graduate of 2001. She joined the Twin Lakes Chiropractic staff in 2001 as a licensed massage therapist. She holds an additional license as a Chiropractic technician and emphasizes massage therapy being secondary to the spinal correction of the chiropractic adjustment. She is experienced in dealing with many types of conditions including auto and work related injuries.
Katherine Hardin joined the staff of Twin Lakes Chiropractic as a licensed massage therapist in 2000. She is a 1999 graduate of Seattle Massage School
